Immaculately clean hotel! We had a room overlooking the River Severn. A very spacious and well furnished room with a "Juliet" balcony from which to take in the beauty of the said river. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would happily recommend this hotel.
Have been staying there for years while being involved with a running event. The hotel had a massive revamp about four years ago and it really smart and comfortable in a great riverside location with all in all good staff, who have obviously been hand picked by management that know their stuff.

By far the best B&B in Newtown area I've experienced. Good, clean, comfortable en-suite room, with mini bar, iron, hair drier, hot water bottle, seriously they thought of everything. Seriously good breakfast served by a very decent and hard working proprietor. Five and a half stars.
Stayed here this week as we were working in wales we needed a hotel last minute at 9 o clock. the lady kindly waited up for us as we were were nearly 1hr away we would 100% stay here again and higly reccomend. Good location. Breakfast was spot on couldnt ask for more excellent customer service and value for money.

Well worth a visit. A very friendly local pub, with excellent service from Niel and his staff. Good for a pint of real ale plus a game of pool and darts, rooms are very reasonably priced too.

Lovely experience at "Cambrian House". The rooms are clean, with generous space and you have acces to everything you need: fridge, microwave, hairdryer, tea, coffee, clean towels every day. I felt like home for more than two weeks because Jo and David are great hosts. I would return here with pleasure anytime.

Staff are very welcoming, also cater very well for babies and children. Food is beautiful all freshly cooked. Definitely recommend Parkers for lunch, snack or evening meal. They also do bed and breakfast.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
